New Update on Aetna Medicare

Dear Aetna Medicare Patients,

 We wanted to let all our patients with Aetna Medicare (HMO and PPO) know that we will no longer be able to accept any Aetna Medicare insurance in 2020.  We are unable to sustain a healthy practice with the low monthly fee given by Aetna Medicare. Aetna Medicare pays at low rates, such that we lose money with each Aetna Medicare patient.

In contrast, traditional Medicare or Medicare supplemental plans pay doctors' offices adequate wages, and allows us to stay in business while delivering excellent care.

Please note that this does not apply to other Medicare or other Aetna or other private insurance. We will continue to accept those insurances as we always have.
