Jessica Casale, FNP-C
Jessica Casale (she/her) is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She graduated from the University of Delaware Family Nurse Practitioner Program with her Master of Science in Nursing, prior to that completed her undergraduate degree at University of Delaware. Jessica has been serving the Newark, Delaware community for over 15 years as a Nurse Practitioner. Jessica has a passion for women’s health, and enjoys counseling her patients on reproductive healthcare, including contraception management. Additionally, like her colleagues, Jessica focuses on creating a safe space for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities. What Jessica loves about primary care is the teamwork between the patient and the provider. Great goals can be achieved when everyone is working together.
Outside of work Jessica enjoys her vegetable garden, beach days and spending time with her family.
Michael Morton-Wiedner, MD
Dr. Michael Morton-Wiedner, MD (He/Him), is a board-certified Internist based in Newark, DE. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and brings a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to adult primary care. Dr. Morton-Wiedner has clinical experience in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including Facial Fractures, Tobacco Use Disorder, and Nasal Bone Fractures, among others. His areas of special interest include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Known for his thoughtful, attentive care, Dr. Morton-Wiedner works closely with his patients to develop personalized care plans that support their long-term health and well-being.
Alyssa Tarburton, PA-C, DIPABLM
Alyssa Tarburton (she/her) is a graduate of Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program. Before beginning PA school, Alyssa studied biology at Ursinus College. Alyssa worked in urgent care for several years prior to joining Progressive Health of Delaware. She is originally from Allentown, PA, but relocated to the area for PA school. Outside of work Alyssa enjoys reading, playing with her dog, Maddy, and spending time with her family and friends.
In December 2023, she was board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
Alyssa ScHweizer, NP
Alyssa Schweizer (she/her) is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a graduate from Wilmington University's Masters of Science in Nursing program. Prior to this she graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor degree in Nursing. She has over five years of hospital based nursing experience. Born and raised in Delaware, Alyssa is excited to serve her community. She values mutual respect and fostering open communication in order to achieve personal healthcare goals.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys traveling, going to the beach, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.
Jennifer Briody, PA-C
Jennifer Briody (she/her) earned her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, majoring in Medical Diagnostics with minors in Biology and Nutrition. While at UD, Jen was a member of the women’s club volleyball team, and during PA school, she served as the Student Representative to the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
She is passionate about primary care, proper follow-up, and building long-term relationships with her patients
